For some time now I've been wrestling with the question 'Who am I?' and have come to some humbling conclusions... I am a photographer. I am an artist. And yet these roles, these aspects of my identity, these facets that make me Lindsay-with-an-"A" Baumgartner are gifts given to me from the true capitol-"A" Artist. He's given me His eyes to see the beauty in all created things - the oddities and uniqueness that make each person or place individual and utterly irreplaceable. And if that weren't enough, He's allowed me to capture it through the lens of my camera and share it with you all. Life is not perfect, but it is precious, and I adore capturing all that this life has to offer. I do not expect perfection nor do I want it. I adore reality, and the incredible beauty and uniqueness that each persons’ reality offers. We are all in this world…but how different each of our realities is! This humbles me and blesses me. And I am grateful. What a gift!
